Yes, though IIRC the 'mum would be cancelled out by striking circles around the perimeter of the flower petals, or by striking the mark of the Japanese arsenal that refurbished the rifle before shipment in the center of the flower.

Whether it was used by them or not, the quality of the etching is dubious at best.

These are really fun guns. I love early 20th century small auto pistols, and the Dreyse is up there.
>tfw have shot an actual Dreyse .32 rifle before

Why the Germans just didn't make assault versions of that rifle and pair it with a .32 pistol using the same mag I'll never know.
>>34726226
Holy shit, that's super neat. That stock seems to be the same one used on my Walther shotgun. This guy was made in the 1920s, so doesn't fulfill the requirements of this thread tho.
Really wish I could shoot my Dreyse pistol. Damn thing looks great on the outside but pitted to fuck in the barrel and chamber.

Someone explains this to me
Up until ww1 there were a relentless arm race in small arms, so why is it that the Mondragon and the Fedorov Avtomat were invented in countries that doesn't have an established history in making guns
Furthermore, why did they stopped at Bolt Action, why not go all the way to semi?
