What is the best carry revolver?
> No semis allowed.
I don't care that you don't like the limited capacity of a revolver, that's fine. I just want to talk about carry revolvers
>>
Probably a worked over smitty. Stainless ftw if you can stand lugging around the extra weight. SP101 3" worked over by Gemini would be up there too. LCR if poorfag
>>
>>34716595
any thing taurus is a good revolver to get. they is the best revolver for the money and always have been.
>>
Ruger LCR for that SAWC
>>
>>34716615

I have an old EIG .38 snub nose. It's a copy of a Model 36. Aluminum frame. Very light.

>tfw you can literally blow hard on the Single Action trigger and it'll go boom.
>>
>>34716595
Stainless ruger security six with a 4" barrel. Everything stock.

Best combinations of size, weight, power, aesthetic, and value.
>>
>>34716677
I don't think that's safe
>>
>>34716595
The rhino in .357 would probably be a decent choice
>>
>>34716595
Ruger LCR/LCRx and S&W J frames are top dog in this fight
>>34716639
Are you OK? Bump your head lately?
>>34716866

327 performance center or redhawk 357
>>
>>34717733
That's what I've been thinking of getting.
>>
>>34716595
>>
>>34716615
People actually spend $2600 on a Gemini worked over sp101??
>>
>>34717733
The trigger is a mile long but smooth. Lightweight so easy to carry.
Good as a bellygun so it suits its role very well but you will hate it at the range.
>>
>>34717569
I've owned both of those. The all steel 85 was well made. Had pitting int the barrel though.

The j frame was short lived but had the standard rubber grip that just felt perfect and carried perfect. The crane had some very ugly markings from the factory.

Would probably buy each again if I found them for a great price.
>>
>>34716595
An 8 shot Smith and Wesson 357 magnum. Because capacity.
>>
>>34720087
To add to this, nothing else seems to fit just right after carrying a snub. It's just one of those guns that you love and trust.

442 with Apex kit and stoned action. I paid about $35 to do the work myself instead of sending to a smith. I am no stranger to working on guns but I would still rate the job as easy lebanesey.
Pull is long but super smooth and lighter without being super light. You can kind of feel when it's just about to break and hold it there before breaking the shot, if you are careful. I like it much more than factory.

Is that a rape whistle?

Yes. I plays it before I rapes.
But actually, it's a sounding rod.
>>
>>34720078
LCR is not so bad to shoot with the right grips and ammo using lighter bullets

Lightweight snubs ain't meant for 158gr +P
>>
>>34716595
armscor m206, cheap but solid

Steel J-frame of your choice in .38spc
Alloy is silly since it'll recoil too hard and the steel frame isn't heavy to begin with
.357 Magnum is silly since it won't perform appreciably better out a snub barrel than .38spc, but will make more recoil and noise
For me, it'd be a 36 or 60 with a semi-bobbed hammer. Enough to cock manually if I wanted to, but shortened and rounded off to not snag.

Add in a credible load like Gold Dot Short Barrel .38spc +P and you're in business.

1. Yes it will.
2. You don't have to carry a snubby. 3 and even 4 inch barrels are not hard to carry.
