Hey /k/ went to a antique gun show in Kansas City yesterday
Walked out with a Winchester 1897
Serial number dates it's manufacture to 1911
Action is tight, stock in great shape, finish is decent for a 106 year old shotgun
This isn't a 97 trenchgun, those were chopped down a bit and had a heatguard and bayonet
But I'm happy to have a shotgun that devastated the Germans to point of protesting it's use and claiming it illegal
Also you can hold down the trigger and slam fire these beasts
Haggled to $450
How did I do?
Sheeeeit nigga i've been looking to get one of those
I'd say you did alright

Awesome gun. 12 or 16 gauge? They're a pain in the ass to work on though.

12 gauge my man!
120 years old, and she shoots like a dream.
