I would consider a .380 double stack glock if it was a cross between the G26 and the G42 - almost as small as a G42 but not as thick as a G26

I have mixed feelings on the 380auto.
I see it as a less powerful 9mm, the size is almost identical. the gun chambered in 380auto is not saving any space at all. if the 380 was actually smaller I would not mind but it is basically the 9mm retarded cousin.

There is even a video of a guy shooting 380autos out of his 9mm glock and the only problem he had was feeding issues from the slightly shorter round. after shooting many shots his gun had no damage at all to the barrel or components.

I've thought about it, and initially it seems like a good idea, but I would not purchase one. In fact I would go as far as to say they were one of America's biggest mistakes. The slave trade delivered great profits for American investors but at a cost for the future generations. The death count for the Civil War alone makes it a mistake but the cost to maintain African-American welfare recipients today is inexcusable.

I think this is a niche gun for Latin America and European markets. It isn't sold in America because of various import laws and demand.

I don't see the point in carrying a Glock 19 chambered in 380, IF you can properly control a Glock 19 chambered in 9x19mm. For those who can't control the recoil of the model 19, the 25 in 380 would be a good alternative and I wish Glock would sell it in the USA.

Back when the 25 was introduced I thought it was a ridiculous gun. I realize why they made it, and there's demand for it in LE circles in Europe especially given some of the gun laws and caliber prohibitions in some countries. But given a choice, I couldn't understand why a person would ever carry a 380 over a same sized 9mm.

Then I got married. My wife is 5' 6" and about 120 lbs, with tiny hands. A Glock 19 is a handful for her. My daughter is shorter, lighter and has even smaller hands. My wife can control a Glock 19 and that's what she carries, but if the 25 was available here in 380 she'd carry that since the 19 is uncomfortable for her to shoot. My daughter has hands the size of a child. A Glock 19 is difficult for her to hold onto well and even harder for her to control recoil.

A pocket sized 380 has a sharper recoil than a Glock 19 9mm and would be even worse for them. A 380 the size of a Glock 19 though, that would be just about perfect for them.
