It's a percentile score, so that means that basically they throw away the bottom third of applicants.

In the Marines all you need to do is be physically fit. That's all they care about. Seriously, 80% of your life will be PT.

The ASVAB percentile isn't literal. It's based around a study of how some high schoolers did when they took the test. You aren't actively competing against other applicants. Everybody enlisting could get a 99 in theory.

I scored 85 on the test, could get higher. Considering airforce but im just glad to be accepted at this point. Ill just nab specialist training, maybe language as well.
