I've built about 10 and 3 of which were my own, always ended up selling them, always wanted a piston driven 5.56 rifle, ended up with this, totally not unsatisfied. Feels great, heavily based off the SCAR with some differences. i.e. no bolt release, BUT utilizes substantially higher density polymers. Its a wicked rifle.

Also, it has an amazing comp, literally no muzzle rise, the weight makes this an absolutely fantastic rapid fire weapon, but its not too much to lug it around anywhere you want to go, even with a substantial amount of ammo included,

They originally designed the shell to be polymer but after the whole G36 witch hunt in Germany they switched it to aluminum without redesigning the geometry. Gotta admit it looks sexy as fuck though and they feel rock solid.

Glad my informative post is still helping people.

I love mine, but at around 9lbs ready for competition it blows a major dick for maneuverability. It's slow to swing, but obviously being weighted like a fucking battle rifle shooting .223 is like a 10/22..... shooting .22short.... So followups are fast.

Great shooter, got about 1.5MOA in testing various ammunition and reloads.

Just not worth the weight. Or the wait.

You're a competition shooter and you think it's going to perform like a SCAR.

You're a competition shooter and think side charging can be handy for speed (get a side charging AR, save $1,000 over the Bren and $2,000 over the SCAR.)
