My uncle's first wife killed herself back in 2002 (IIRC) with a similar gun. Was a 12 gauge bolt action with 30" barrel. She was probably 5'1 at best, put it in her mouth, they said she likely pulled the trigger with her toe.

I know my uncle didn't do it because he was working at the time (with witnesses) and they were poorer white trash types. Pretty open and shut case. Was sad because she had a kid who was a few years younger than me at the time (I was 12) and I have no idea what that boy is doing today, but he had it rough growing up. He's the one who found her.

I get the feeling many of them don't actually care. They simply get paid to pretend they do for a little while. They're actors. It's not that they're pro-gun, they simply don't think about it until it's good PR to tweet something or put out a statement or are paid to appear in an AD.
