Check for a canted front sight, but otherwise it's a great deal. Ammo is about $80 alone. Optic is about 250 if it's in good working condition.

That optic is a Romanian LPS tip2, only worth about $150 max and it has a svd mount, not an ak mount.

bore - shine a light down the barrel
magwell - inspect the magwell and see if magazines wobble badly in it
the aformentioned 10 vs 10/63 thing

No, the original single stack wasr-10s is where they had a lot of issues. The 10/63s were a lot better in reliability but only minor improvements in quality, still had a possibility of canted sights and front to back mag wobble.

OP here, it's a 10/63. I've read about the mag wobble and issues with canted sights so I'll definitely check those before buying. Someone said that the scope mount was for an SVD, would it be simple replacing that with a mount for an AK?

Yes. kalinkaoptics.com sells ak mounts just for the lps scope, just swap out the mounts and you're g2g. As long as there is nothing canted and no excessive mag wobble, a 10/63 will be a good workhorse ak. Pic related, my 10/63 with 2500+ rounds through it with no issues.
