I'm not confident in the condition of my shot out mosin and I need something to replace it. is there anything on the market that can take similar abuse to what the mosin can? I put mine through a lot of shit, it's shot almost daily and is beat around quite a lot. I don't need anything quite as strong as the 7.62x54 but it needs to be able to take out a coyote here and there as that was the main purpose of the mosin. I just need something cheap and very durable; it doesn't have to be a tack driver or anything.

Get a Savage rifle in 308. There are a few model but overall they are similar bolt action rifles.
I say Savage as they are extremely well priced and brutally durable. 308 is similar to the ballistics of your 7.62x54R, but is more common and rather cheap compared to alot of other calibers out there.
