I have a chance to pick up a savage 110 on a McMillan stock. It's in good condition, comes with 2 accuracy international mags and some ammo. All for 900. Worth it? Pic related.
I forgot to add, it's a 300 win mag
Bamp, no one has opinions? Thats not very /k/ like.

Sorry for the lack of responses. I don't know anything about guns that are non surp or non slav but I'll give you a bump
I hope this is bait. If it isnt, however...
>shit condition
>buying used rifle in shit condition
>buying used rifle in shit condition for more than MSRP

OP hopefully youre still lurking.
Right off, it has a shit paint job, but thats not a deal killer. AICS magwell so thats a plus. Mcmillan A3-5 stock.
Anymore info on what scopemount, or any work he had done on it like bedding etc.
Pictures of the bolt, bolt face, muzzle crown, and chamber would be great.
If the muzzle crown is scratched, pass on it.
If the chamber is rusted or scratched to shit, pass on it.
If the bolt face is scratched or rusted to shit, pass on it.
Honestly 900 is the exact worth for just a standard savage 110 action, and mcmillan stock.
Barreled action is 400
Stock is 400
Scope mount is 80 if its something decent
AICS magwell is 200
AICS mags are 80 bucks each
This is ballpark prices for NEW. So if the areas of concern I had are good to go, Id pay the guy 800 max.
If you want your own precision rifle, tell me what caliber you want to use and I can price one out for you.

>shit condition
I have seen the rifle in person, the action is pretty clean, its just got some minor paint blemishes.
Those stocks sell for 600 new. The rifle sells for 500 new.
What would you offer?

Hmm Id pass and buy a new 110 in 300winmag for cheaper. then you can use the money you save to customize it to your liking

So the crown is clean and so is the chamber, I glanced at the bolt face but I dont remember what it looked like. It is bedded. The rifle is owned by a guy I work with, I ask to look at it again. I honestly thought 900 was high and was only going to offer 800 max, but I want to see what others think.

Go $800, but if he is a friend let it go for $850
Guy online selling

for $400 with 2 holsters and bunch of mags. but says he'll consider "reasonable cash offers". If I can get it for $350 cash, should I snag it? I don't own a 1911 but I've shot a lot of them and love them

This is guy you were responding to, do this >>34687440
My offer still stands to plan out a build on any pricepoint you have. I routinely research firearms parts and accessories for my job, so I got good intel on this subject.
