$170. Not so cheap, you say? It was an online purchase so there was no sales tax, I got free shipping, and it's a black powder gun so it came straight to my door with no FFL fees. Here in California, that's about the equivalent of having gotten it for about $80 bucks.

It's sad that mine in stainless is worth less now than the nugget I got for 70 bucks with tax. Hell I might even sell the nugget and cans of ammo and buy a new varmint rifle while the price is high.

I was mulling over trying to sell it to get a takedown 10/22 with magpul backpacker stock but seeing how much people are willing to give me for it, its not even close to worth selling. Im just gonna keep both.

My father gave me the marlin 60 and this shogun when I graduated and moved into my own place so they are kinda sentimental to me as well. He's also got two Lee Enfeilds from his dad he never shoots so I've been trying to get him to gift me one.
>>
>>34683121
Don't sell it for 70buck unless your a really poor poorfag. Keep the working rifle instead

This Pietta 1851 repro was $75 with all the crap pictured. Breddy great deal if you ask me, even though the insides of the chambers were pretty corroded because the guy left it loaded inside an oily gym sock for about 25 years.
>>
>>34680167
well shit got me beat by 20 bucks,i bought an iver johnson champion 12 for $50
>>
>>34683141
I would suggest not selling guns that have sentimental value. You will never get enough money from it go make up for the regret you feel down the road.
Hold on to it and give it to your kid someday or someone in the family. It will brig you and them much more joy.

Local pawn shop was closing and they sold me this NEF Pardner single-shot 12ga for $50 OTD. I proceeded to chop the barrel to 18.5" and paint the stock black purely for shits and giggles. Probably the only gun I own that hurts to shoot, but it's still fun regardless.

The guy is pike 83yo this year and has been having memory trouble. He forgets he has things once in awhile. Dad thinks its an onset of Alzheimer's but docs say hes fine just getting old.
I love shooting this little single shot I think the old coot is just happy someone is taking care of it and its finding a use again.
