Get a gun that supports the round in the chamber from factory asshole.

I already do, actually all of my handguns have fully supported barrels, except my glock. Thus this thread exists
Only revolvers have a true fully supported barrel.
There's really only one reason to worry about this. How how are the loads you're trying to shoot, jebus.
You could buy the new and better improved Glock, its called the CZ p10

KKM barrels are the bee's knees

Hmm revolvers never entered my mind with this topic, touche. I shoot varying brands of maybe 4/5 quality. But im thinking of buying some handloads from my local range

They'd better be pretty damn cheap if you're considering buying a new barrel just to shoot them....
>>34673363
What does supporting a round in battery mean? Isn't that what the chamber is for?
>>34673763
Im pretty confident with just the stock barrel. But I also want more support since it's an option to have

A lot of people that reload and shoot Glocks a lot (especially in competition) get barrels with conventional rifling so they can shoot lead wadcutter bullets. Glocks factory rifling doesn't allow for that and will eventually kb in your hands.
With the cheaper bullet and how much that shoot, it saves them money pretty quickly.
I got my Glock 20 in 2011. I put a Stormlake barrel in it about a year later because after googleing they were the best at the time. Then like everything else they got popular and chose quantity over quality. Now when you google them they are considered shit which is sad.
