Nope the gas goes goes all the way back and pushes the bolt rearward to eject.

In a piston, the gas pushes a piston which pushes back an operating rod which then works the bolt. Keeps the dirt away from the action but has slightly more recoil.

The redesign itself isn't problematic, but rather if it is redesigned to be fired from the shoulder then you have a problem. That determination isn't made until it is actually brought to a case, and it hasn't been brought yet. You can go ahead and be a boot licking pussy faggot and assume the determination to be that it is a redesign as a stock, or you can be based and clearly see that it is simply a redesign into a better brace, one that can be used against the cheek or the forearm.

I've admittedly only shot 4 AR-9s, and they were all PSA, but every one of them have been great. Hell, even MORE reliable than my pistol because they don't give a fuuuuuuuuuuck about hard primers.

Also, suppressing a direct blowback rifle has VERY little effect on the action. Possibly the least of any action type.

Not too shabby, still like a $1 more than the pmags--and not compatible with any other platform.

And outside of that, the AR-9 is still much more modular, with all the aftermarket of the AR platform.

I'm sure the CZ is a good gun, and a great shooter, but the glock AR-9 is a more practical choice. Especially since I already own 2 pistols that can use the mags.

I personally would go with an AR9 taking glock mags primarily because it would be the cheapest to build, and would have the most furniture/modularity options. Binary triggers for them are easy to get and currently available, and the interchangeability between pistol and carbine mags doesn't seem absolutely useless to me.

I have two ETS Glock mags and wish I had simply never bought them. Cheap and shitty to the feel, obviously more range than duty.

Yeah it is going to be a bear to get on. I helped a friend put his on. It sucked. Might want to grab an extra safety selector detent spring. We buggered his spring getting the stock on. The bonus is that those stocks are burly as hell, and it'll look great.
