Mine has something north of 130k, but I blew up the engine a few thousand miles ago and had it rebuilt. Only thing that went bad was the clutch, it was starting to separate from the fire wall(whatever they call it). Its a known issue on 08s so Subaru fixed it for free. It also only happened once in those 130k miles.

My problem isn't with threadlocker, it's with relying on threadlocker as the sole binding agent--especially when it's on parts that get hot. At least use rocksett--but oh no, they have to break out the tub of blue loctite they got at Home Cheapo and dip their screws in it.

There's nothing wrong with a Harbor Freight torque wrench for AR assembly. The barrel nut torque spec is 25-90 foot/lbs

+/- 3ft/lbs is not going to affect your gun, and even chink torque wrenches calibrate within that variance
