Hey /k/. I'm an europoor engineer who designed a somewhat new and interesting firearm. What's the best way to patent it? where do I best patent it: US or Europe? I want the patent to be international, so that me alone can produce firearms of such a design.
I started reading on this subject, but it's very complicated, and I have limited time and money (even a hundred bucks make a difference).
How do I find investors? I hold my design very dear and I am not willing to sell it--nor am I willing to go to some firearm company. I want to found one of my own.
I hope you'll help me, at least by telling me where to look for answers.

Consult a lawyer. Idk why you think /k/ knows anything about patenting things

What he said, patent law is a bitch. Expect to pay >€5000 though.

I have no money for a lawyer. In fact, I'll have to work hard even to get a thousand bucks.

Fuck. Just fuck. I can only hope to earn that sum of money in a few years, and I need a patent and investments within a couple years, no more.

You could get a non-jewish lawyer and then enter into a partnership where you make a contract to give him a percentage of any revenue derived from your patent.
BTW if you can't get international patents someone will rip you off (if it's a good idea)
ask a Patents lawyer, not any interwierd forum.

There is no international standard patent.
Fun fact: Chinese law refuses to acknowledge any patent that is not first registered in China.
