Not really. A couple of other guys died and i walked away with shrapnel and about 10%TBSA third degree burns. Purple heart plates on the car have gotten me out of a shit load of speeding tickets though.

>>34664321 here. Quickly is a relative term. My shrapnel wounds healed up in a few weeks. One of my buddies took about a month after being too close to a grenade. Still thats quick compared to outpatient treatment regarding burns and other nasty shit.

We had a guy come to my unit and he was beloved because he had a purple heart. Next thing we know people keeping getting shit stolen, money from wallets after PT and shit. Long story short it was Corporal Dicksuck with the purple heart.

During Mountain Warfare he collapsed and started rubbing his taint, apparently where he got shot in Iraq. Hahaha, taint wound Purple Heart.
