All the WASR I saw at the shops around my town were going for anywhere from 700 to 750. I had 700 on me that's why I purchased the io I just thought it would be a better value seeing as it came with an extra magazine and also a gun case so that legally I can transport it in my car (Local laws). Plus I was able to buy a few boxes of ammunition. It's not a survival or shtf rifle I just plan on using it for plinking.

Too all those who are apparently very concerned by my purchase. I traded in the IO today and currently have a WASR coming in its place. For those with helpful criticism that enlightened me on my poor purchase, thank you. I ended up paying more for a gun I plan on plinking with than I would have preferred, but so be it.
