Tell me, /k/. Do you include tactical driving in your personal drills? Why not? Why don't you own a beater to practice shooting out of? You think you'll never be accosted during a drive?

Cause I drive a motorcycle 90% of the time. When you start trying to do shit like that, you usually end up on the pavement. So no thank you.
>>34656625
>end up on the pavement
Sure if you don't practice you are bound to screw anything up.
>>34656558
Senpai you just want too play Eurobeat and live out an operator style Initial D (I do too)

That's a dirt bike, I drive a 08 hayabusa which handles completely dif. Plus the hayabusa was made for speed, with it able to hit speeds of almost 200mph.

s1000rr rider here. hayabusa's are ugly as fuck
>>34656941
Little 250 cbr rider here soon. I love Suzuki, but I agree.

>where's my hundreds of dead bodies just for the sake of motorsport at?
>where's my every team having to remove fingers from random nooks on the cars
60s and 70s era African rallies were better just because they would end up smashing into herds of whatever happened to cross the route at the time
>>34656856
>drive a 08 hayabusa
you mean ride anon... you dont drive a motorcycle
>>34656558
I drive around like that in my work truck, after I turn off stability control and traction control.
>Mfw it's great for fast driving on gravel/dirt roads
>not so great for people's stuff
>>34656729
Speedy speed boy.
>>34656558
I don't have a beater tactimobile because I don't have nearly enough land to be driving and shooting on. But I have shot out of moving vehicles on friend's property. Fun shit.

Is it a 4-stroke?
2 strokes power to weight is amazing, you don't need a 1,000lb bike to haul ass with 2-stroke (most likely banned for road use due to pollution)
>>34657510
>two strokes banned for road use
There are tons of older two strokes you can legally drive on the road.
Pic related.
>>34656625
thats why you do high performance driving schools on a track with attenuators
>>34656558
I had a wonderful vehicle for tactical driving. Windows open wide, windshield opens up, could add an M16 rifle rack, add a 'fixed-gun' emplacement to the bed, etc.
Up until the transmission failed last night.
And my car got totaled.
I have nothing now.
>>34656856
sounds like you've got more bike than you can handle. you should take some driving schools.
blasting around on the track is literally the most fun you can have with pants on
then when you've done enough classroom time and laps, you can go for your competition license
>>34656558
why are europoor cars so small?
>>34656729
im getting deja vu
>>34657548
pretty neat. I wonder if they're easier to rebuild than 4-stroke engines?
I am aroused by that cornering
>>34657572
The Volvo is also good for operating
>>34657510
modern fuel injected 4 strokes are better then old 2 smokers. the 2 biggest down sides to 2 smokers are having to mix fuel oil and you cannot engine brake on a 2 stroke. its a great way to seize your motor.
>>34658265
Power to weight is more important on motorcycles though, I feel.
>>34658265
a new ktm 250 2-stroke weights in at 210 lbs dry
and a new ktm 250 4-stroke weights 216 lbs dry
so for 6 pounds you're getting a motor that needs a fuel additive and wont let you engine break which on the road and certain situations is something you very much want. also on 2-strokes the peak power is at high rpm's so when your really punching it basically, which is why they are popular in hill climb and tough enduro events where you do a lot of steep inclines were you are pinning the throttle.
as for launching off the line a modern 4-stroke has no problem keeping up or even beating it depending on the rider. that is why 2-strokes have mostly died out expect for a few companies that still make them for a small market. 4-strokes just have more upsides than 2-strokes while still being able to perform the same or better in 95% of the things your average rider is going to do.
