Whilst this thread still kinda has momentum, Does anyone know where to get a full suit of Lithuanian M05?
>>34655220
wish I knew. isn't there a milsurp threat usually up?
>>34655472
I thought milsurp is stuff no longer used by the military which gets sold. The Lithuanian m05 is still in use (last I saw it in-person was 2014 or 2015, Kaunas).
Get SSO or if you're on a budget a BARS branded or Legionnaire branded one as there are places you can get them for under 50 bucks, and jesus christ get it from anywhere other than Grey-Shop they take fucking years to ship and fill you in with a load of excuses why it hasnt shipped after a month, I've had that problem before and i am not gonna have it again.
>>34654186
While we're on the topic...Russian Digi floral, where's a got spot for to buy that?
>>34655887
Depends if you care if its issued or not
>>34655887
Ebay has a decent bit of it. Sadly none of Lithuanian m05. Also was just about to say the same as >>34655990.
>>34655572
this
>>34654511
Not op, but I spent way too much time on there. Way too much shit I want, although fuck me I am dying for an altyn helmet that isn't a replica

>>34654186
why is the sizing so fucking weird with russian stuff
like why are pant lengths 6'2'' ?
>>34654186
I think Varusteleka also has some in stock
>>34656832
700 dollars and it looks like someone ran it through a rock polisher
like 3month ago grey shop had some cheap (mean under this 700 one) altyn, K6-3, maska
they had it all and no all are gone :(
reminder that gorkas only look good with full gear surrounded by a bunch of other dudes in gorkas.
also that they suck as clothing for their price
https://grey-shop.ru/Original-Maska-Telescope
https://grey-shop.ru/Original-Maska-1-Helmet
can't find the page for rys-t and other but they had it all
>>34657207
good thing its made out of titanium
>>34657293
REStricted to send outside of Russian federation
There was this aswell
https://www.ruforyou.com/product-page/real-maska-1sch
Might be worth checking if anymore will come in as if i recall it was in the UK and they had 2, dont know if thats both of them sold out though.
>>34654511
Is special russian shop some kind of bizzare scam or is it just REALLY FUCKING SLOW.
It took them the better part of two weeks to send me my paypal invoice. And even though I paid nearly 1/2 the cost of my shit on EMS, that shit has not gotten here in a full month.
And they don't reply to emails.
Experiences anyone?

I've decided to get a SPOSN Gorka-S for my Peru 5-day Trek into the Andes.
Anyone know how well it stands up against wind and rain?
I'm thinking of combining it with a PCU fleece or Level 2 for the baselayer, in case it gets a little cold at 15,000 feet.
>>34659916
They're not waterproof if that's what you're asking, but aren't they kind of designed to deal with wind and cold?
>>34659916
It gets cold but also the sun burns you in the morning
t. Peruvianon
>>34660073
How cold does it get around early October?
I'm going to do the Salkantay - Machu Pichu trek, which takes us from 15,000 feet and peaks down to humid tropical temperatures.
Any advice for a Gringo? I'll be staying in Cusco and spending a few days there, but also considering a 2 day trip and flight to Puma Punku via La Paz.
Pic related, SPOSN Gorka-S.
>>34660178
Matching pants.
I'm I the first /k/unt going into the Peruvian Andes in a Gorka? Will take photos for you fellas.
>>34660021
I realize they are not nearly waterproof, but it's a dense canvas (cotton) so very good wind resistance and dries quick if it does get rained on. I think I will take a lightweight nylon poncho just in case.
>>34660178
October is spring so it will be much warmer than now, but always be ready for an unexpected weather change in the Andes.
Main advice would be to prepare yourself for the altitude(try mate de coca) most visitors that quit is because of altitude sickness. Also if you like trekking you can visit Colca Canyon in Arequipa, really good landscapes and also many mountains over 5000 meters.
>>34660197
Sorry to disappoint you but I met a Ukrainian guy living in my city that has Gorka!
Funny thing is that radom German guys started talking to me when I used my flecktarn parka on my last outdoor trip
>>34654186
I got my gorka from grey shop. Got it less than 2 weeks after I ordered it. I couldn't fucking believe it showed up that fast.
>>34660351
Thanks!
I'm tempted to stay in Peru and do as you say - Arequipa or fly to Nazca instead of going into Bolivia. I hear La Paz is a little rough...
>>34660445
>Sorry to disappoint you but I met a Ukrainian guy living in my city that has Gorka!
Filho da puta! Tell him Crimea is strictly Russian clay.
>>34660197
I own the BARS Gorka 3K, which is similar to yours except the jacket buttons down completely and has two small slash pockets. The Gorka is a fantastic windstopper on windy winter hunts but works best in a dry cold. I got caught in a rainstorm while hunting last winter and it was *not fun*. The Gorka soaked up the water like a sponge and did not fully dry until I had gotten indoors and hung the whole thing up for a few hours.
Bring some sort of poncho or baggy Goretex and you'll be fine.
>>34659064
they are not scam
just slow
i bought goggles and shovel from them, they are legit
>>34656900
you have to pay custom fee with Varusteleka
they only work great for EU fag
>>34661789
Wat? Shit is 10 dollar shipping and thats it.
>>34661793
IDK
i bought some surplus from them once
they did not marked your stuff as gift so you have to pay custom fee
>>34661805
Um ok, they charge 10 bucks shipping to USA, i just bought a bunch of shit from them, dont know what youre talking aboot.
>>34661838
yeah, i currently in Asia
>>34656832
$700 for a K6-3 plz no
>>34659916
its not waterproof but it has a good resistance against water.
anyway you can buy cheap waterproofing spray.
I saw a youtube video with a russian doing it on his gorka and its seems to work very well
>>34663192
you can just wax it with candle
>>34661838
Just received my package from them - California
Did not pay custom fee. Only the $10 bucks.
No paying extra Nipbux to ship items to freedom town
Since this seems the slav surplus thread
Should I buy an Afghanka? The coat looks nice. Can someone tell me how they are?
>>34665893
The summer uniform or the winter version?
The winter jackets are super warm but heavy and stiff.
>>34667503
Winter version

SRS is legit, but they DO NOT have anything in stock.
Don't pay for EMS if ordering from them unless you are thinking 1 month ahead of time. They order everything placed on their site once a month, and then ship everything out once they have all those orders in
That's why it takes them a month to just ship your stuff out, but generally speaking they do have the best prices.
I've ordered quit a lot from them before.
>>34660502
heyyy sexy
>>34654186
Greyshop for sure, only like ~130 shipped, cheapest and most stock I've seen.
>>34669627
SRS is always cheaper than GS, especially on shipping. GS shipping is ass. The only good thing about them is they can EMS your shit and have it all on hand ready to go
>>34669617
See u soon qt
They have them on eBay. Is this fake shit? It says it's from Russia on it, before I buy it, what's the fabric like? Is it noisy when you walk?
>>34669832
Also, this sizing chart is aids. I'm 6'3 175 skinnyish guy with long ass arms and legs. What the fuck size would I get?
>>34669882
175lbs
>>34669627
>>34669764
Rus mil dot RU is also cheaper and they have EMS option
their Ratnik gear are cheaper than anywhere else
the regular stuff like SSO also have nice price
>>34654186
what would happen if like 10 guys with aks dressed in gorkas walked though some random town in USA?
>>34671754
they are probably some random slavboo airshitter
10 guys with AK and Muilti cam is more spooky
>>34671759
looks like western spec ops just with ak
how are poeple even going to know whos who in the modern battlefield
>>34671797
Because actual special forces ( not private or burger ones ) wear actual camo not multicam
>>34671797
>how are poeple even going to know whos who in the modern battlefield
spec ops don't face each other in the battle field
they target high value stuff like missile or radar
>>34672381
i.e. they are a human analogue of an asm :^)
>>34672286
the cloth doesn't make you a man
they are only tool
>>34672396
exactly
>>34671797
IIRC Russian camo procurement is still a gigantic clusterfuck, so on one hand, Rosgvardiya and a bunch of other SMUs wear ATACS/Ataka, the other hand being high priority or big budget groups get Multicam/sham (like Alpha, Vympel, Chechens are all over it), the dudes still wearing mishmash shit and somewhat obscure camos like FSKN wearing SURPAT, is like spilled soup on Russia's tacticool pelvis. Also EMR is kinda standardized already so VDV groups and non snowflake groups generally don't count.

>>34655472
>>34655531
Didn't fins use M05 too?
