Saw this on the highway yesterday. No wings, no engines, no cockpit. The fuselage shape is reminiscent of an F-35 or *maybe* F-22, but it's twin-engine and the vertical fins are the wrong shape for a Raptor. What else could it be?

F/A-18F Super Hornet

The F-35 has 1 large single engine, the 22 has 2.
The way the tale fins are laid out would make me think that it is a Raptor.

Its a Black Widow being brought out of storage to fly once again!
Or its just a Hornet

the car that follows the car has two orange cat ears... huh

You sure? I didn't get any good photos of it, but the fuselage looked way too wide in proportion to its length for that. I also thought it has the wrong intakes, but I suppose it might just be missing the leading edge strakes.

Vertical stabilizer is not spade shaped and the engine bay looks circular so I don't thin it's an f22. I personally think it's an f18 of some kind

I thought so at first, but the Raptor's fins' trailing edges have the opposite slope to these. Unless the control surfaces were removed...?

Airfag here.
What's the closest Air Force base or military installation to where you took the picture?

Not sure, maybe Whiteman?
>>34649154
could it be an f-22 without its thrust vectoring attached? if not i think its an f-18, this shit has me really confused though

Warning flags. It's got a wide load banner on it's bumper so I'm guessing it's to keep people from tailgating the truck.
