Found this at work any idea what it is? Old toy caps? Starting pistol blanks? Nail gun cartridges? Pretty sure the h on the back is for hornady

Illegal in Britain.

They are nail gun blanks.
Partial strip of ammo from a Vietnam-era .22 chaingun. This was probably used during a May Day show of force parade, given that blanks were used.
Op here thanks

These, fun fact they fit and fire in a .22LR rifle and can be used to drive pellets ~1700 fps.

It's for a powder actuated nailgun.
It's a Rivet gun cap strip, you fucking idiots. You use them to nail 2x6's to I-beams, or 2x4's to concrete. Obviously depending on building code near you.

Nope, probably for Hilti

This. Great fun. Highly recommend.

Nope.
The ones on strips are .27". This is what the new .17 Win. Super Mag. is based on.
>>34648715
It depends on the power level, the lower power ones are .22, the higher power ones are .27

Thumbnail looked like IV caps for hospitals, but it's just blanks for a concrete nailgun.
You could probably put a bb or pellet on top to shoot in a .22, but idk why you wouldn't just buy .22.
>>34648754
No it doesn't. You can get low or high pressure loads for both.
The preloaded plastic strips are always .27 caliber. Loose blanks are usually .22

So are concealed carry butter knives.
