Sorry, I meant that I need an A1, I've been looking into builds for one but the parts seem rare/expensive or in the case of Nodak lowers, time consuming. My LGS has an colt civilian A1 for sale for $3000 but that seems kind of pricy. I know colt was making a $2500 repro this year but that also seems kind of expensive.

Oh anon, as long as you have the standard M-70 uniform and a Sig-55X rifle, you're good to go. Only other external gear you'd need is: M-57 bayonet, A sidearm and leather holster (If you're feeling fancy).

The Swiss hated harnesses/chest rigs, refer to pic in my first post. So finding external gear isn't too hard.


In addition, I've also ordered an Eastern German uniform with combat pack, suspenders/combat belt, mag pouch, and overseas cap.
