I got some balkan war handguards for my npap, and it had a worn out TMNT sticker on it from many years ago.
It feels pretty cool to have a unique piece of history on your gun, iirc soldiers would buy bubblegum back then and the gum packs would come with stickers, so they would slap them on their rifle.

Does that count?

Really? I've shot a few 1911s and own a colt 1903 but I barely notice the grip safety while shootinf. Does it dig into your hand or make your grip uncomfortable or something?

i leave an unused QD sling swivel attached to the bayonet mount sling mount (Ruger AR-556)

(my quadrail and magpul CTR stock have mountpoints i actually use)

anyway it lets me hang my gun on a hook in the closet or on bedroom door etc. kinda handy

No, I just wear somewhat thicker gloves on those days, an after 5-600 rounds my wrist/grip aren't as strong as with the first magazine.

I put Type R stickers on the grips and paint the front sights. Or was it grip tape with racing pinstripes? Whatever, the slide has the speed holes that spit fire so it kicks ass.

Not much of a modification, but at some point I grew tired of the bright tan stock on my SLR-107 and decided to try Rit-Dye as a solution.
Kinda like the sand Pmags I thought.
The outcome from grey rit dye was my stock turning a shade of greyish blue.

So instead of tan, grey or even let alone black I got a grey blue stock and blackish handgaurds.

Some people have plum furniture but I have blueberry furniture.
I like it.
