K I need help the mags on my zastava m70a (a 9mm tokarev clone) have stopped seating and I was wondering since the gun is so dimensionally similar to a 1911 that maybe I could use 9mm 1911 mags

No, but you can use Walther P1 and P38 mags if you modify them to have a mag catch slot for the M70A. Just take a dremel to it and you'll be good.
