My only other carry gun is a walther CCP. I bought this while waiting for the recall fix.

I wanted a sub compact double stack, and really liked the grip on this compared to the P2000. Also love the looks and really wanted an HK. Of course the VP9SK is announced about 2 weeks after I buy this, but c'est la vie.

My primary interest in firearms is pistol shooting, having redundant copies of my primary keeps me up and shooting even if god forbid I have another a catastrophic failure.

The USP40 was the first pistol I ever bought
The P2000SK is my only HK from that generation so I've held on to it
The USP9c is an odd ball grey market gun with an LEM trigger and an ambi safety that I grabbed for like $500 NIB, it's just a neat little guy

The P30 and USPc are pertty much the same, and you can use the P30 mags in the USPc.

There is actually a special oil that is for that and works even better, but the other guy has your back with the low cost chap stick suggestion. A pencil eraser works great for cleaning as well.
