Quick rundown of events since when we last saw our heroes:

-ECM barrel is a meme. We were never going to go that route, and I'm not sure why it's still a thing.
-The picture I posted of the stock is not the most recent version. The most recent assembly of the rifle uses a rebuilt stock, going from the measurements of the original. The original's design tree was an awful clusterfuck and terrible to edit. The new stock also looks vastly cleaner.
-3D printing will be used for prototyping, not production. The stock/other furniture will likely be contracted out, pricing is ongoing.
-The fire control group, magwell, etc have been modeled. Bench testing with the prototype show no issues with feeding on several types of ammunition, and our firing pin tests have dented all the primers we threw at it.
-Legality is completely under control, as I've talked with the local ATF and they've promised not to shoot our dogs.

On my end, yes. I don't have access to any of the tooling required to created my own prototype, so most of what I can do is limited to things within the computer.
