those run around 1000 give or take 100 (cabelas has them for 950), and come from the factory with a 5 round pmag so you can either buy either 5/10 round steel AI mags, 5/10 round Accurate AICS mags, or stay with the polymer 5/10 round Magpul AICS mags.

just because you can hit something at range doesn't mean you're using the correct round for the job. 308 is a fine cartridge under 500-600 meters. Beyond that you're dropping below 2,000fps, which means you're really gonna struggle dropping even small game.
