That is just the requirements I have for the .22 pistol. The gun club requires I bring my own handgun to take a safety test, just me showing my firearms competence to them. Figured a .22 would be a good gun for practice. I'd like to just add a silencer and use a red dot on it in case .22 competitions appeal to me later in life.

WASRs are good. They take standard AKM parts and furniture, so the parts are as common as AK parts get in the US.

You won't find a non-7.62 WASR unless you buy used, as the 5.45 and 5.56 versions haven't been imported in years.

You can but it takes some tools. Think it just involves some sand paper to smooth out the trigger. Replacing the trigger group is pretty easy just do your homework on it before you commit.

Got my poly choke today. Pretty excited to try it out, but mostly all I can think of is how this girl I used to bang in college once whispered choke me when I was balls deep in her ass and my friend was sleeping on my couch got mad and left because he wanted to have a 3 way but was too afraid to ask.

The Russians designed the top loader drums. The Chinese designed the rear loading drums.

Rear-loading drums can be loaded faster and be left loaded without putting any tension on the springs. China, Romania, Bulgaria, and Korea made Chinese-style rear loading drums. Only Russia and Romania made top loading drums as far as I know.

Besides the Koreans, which tend to be a little shitty, I think all the drums tend to be pretty reliable.
