Gripen E can use the MBDA Meteor, a missile that is far superior to ANYTHING russia have.
Russia on the other hand can barely even afford the shitty baseline R-77, for anything else than propaganda flights in Syria you use obsolete R-27.
Sweden with MBDA Meteor is currently well over a decade ahead of russia in fighter tech.
