Have both, Tokarev is more fun, Makarov more practical and built like a tank!

Even though I just bought a mak, considering one of these as well. Any thoughts on what fate I would suffer if I got the ones with the extra bluing wear? I'm afraid I'd end up negating the money I save by needing to order replacement parts.

All jokes aside, go Mak if you may need a more versatile pistol other than for collecting. The Tokarev is, in my opinion, a more interesting piece of history.
