It's complicated, but yeah. They're direct blowback (actually simpler than a regular AR), so there's no gas tube, although you might still use a gas block to hold on handguards if you're not free floating the barrel. You may also need a different buffer weight, and you may also need to add a buffer/spacer to the inside of the buffer tube to shorten travel of the BCG. Also, needs a dedicated 9mm BCG, ad possibly a different hammer (a dedicated BCG might be made to prevent that). Lots of mags suck if you're using Colt style mags, but Glocks are good. A Colt BCG can't run Glock mags, but a hybrid 9mm BCG can do both. If you work out the whole buffer weight/spring power/buffer space combo just right, mags get less picky.

A $60 PSA lower costs $125-$130 out the door depending on how much they charge you to ship.

So, they go for $80-$100 locally, since people want a matched PSA lower for their kit.

I wish I was lying, but I was on the other end of trying to find those lowers in the past, since matching it to a kit helps greatly with resale value.

I actually just did a cuckpistol built with PSA parts. The upper was fine (189$ free shipping) but the lpk was fucked. The bolt catch plunger was out of fucking spec and would fit in it's hole. And the roll pins were oversized and too fucking soft and one of them fucking broke on me. Ended up going back to brownells and getting replacements (colt and high standard branded, whatever the fuck that means) and they fit fucking perfect.

The upper and bolt seem fine, but the lpk was shit. Fucking psa. Would still buy their uppers though.

I've had issues with oversize roll pins in PSA lower build kits. But just crushed them with pliers and slowly tapped them into place. First time was a pain in the ass, second kinda sucked, everything after has been fine. Just takes practice.

I only buy the CHF stuff with the good BCGs when it comes to uppers...not comfortable with the melonite or PTAC and Freedom branded stuff. It's damned near impossible to screw up a lower. I've had no problems with anything I've ordered from PSA so far.

I've only done one PSA build, though. 20" CHF upper and PSA Magpul lower. I did get in on the Glock plus uppers deal and have started my second build. No problems there so far either.
