A well made, sturdy and greasy razor whip is the most effective melee weapon. Grease up the razors and the cord. If you hit someone they will get cut and bleed. If the razors get caught up in the clothes of someone you can yank it and cut them. If someone grabs it the you can yank it and the grease will slide it all over their hand. The only thing you can really do is run or dodge.
