Different guy, I have a question. I'm in a fun-friendly state with no gun registry. Hypothetically,
if I have to move to a non-fun-friendly state and possess fire arms that don't follow state law, what can "they" really do about it? Is there any way of people finding out I own it (other than me getting caught with it?)

There was an old guy in Jersey who had the cops called on him on some completely non firearms related matter, so naturally LE broke into his gun safe for the sake of doing so (he did own Jew state legal firearms) and he was charged with possession of a number of prohibited firearms.
Similar thing happened to Bilzarian? in CA. Cops responded to a break in, then decided to break into and empty his safe room for him themselves, just in case. Despite nothing illegal being found he had to fight a huge legal battle to get his own shit back, then they kept his mags and ammo in order to force another battle. Being as moneyed as he is he said fuck it and just replaced the mags and ammo last I heard.
