Sure. Attackers are very likely to get up in your face so you might as well train to shoot the dick then work your way up.
You should be ready to shoot as soon as the gun clears the holster and the barrel is perpendicular to your enemy.

'worth it'? It's not something you have to dedicate an unreasonable amount of time to do, it's literally shooting from one of your steps in a drawstroke. Just do it safely.

What you should look into doing is learning BJJ/MMA for the event that you get hands on with someone and cannot access your gun.

yea ive been looking into taking some martial arts classes as well. some people were saying taekwondo but i feel like bjj is more oriented to an actual fight, not just sparring
