I live in commiefornia and due to our pistol roster and FFL's all having different interpretations of it the only hope of getting a hi power here is to get a C&R eligible one (over 50 years old).
Are the mid to late 1960's hi powers just rare or something? I thought they would be more common but I can't seem to find anything other than a few 1968 and 69 hi powers which are just a year out of reach for me. However, I do see a lot of 70's hi powers. And when the 2020's roll around will those very late 60's/early 70's hi powers dry up?

Just move /k/omrade, that's your best option.

FPBP
Come next door to Arizona, and enjoy your 2nd Amendment rights
Just get out of Cali. I am getting out of here next summer and it can't come soon enough

Can't you just buy from someone out of state and have it FFL'ed in? As I understand, private party is exempt.
Fucking commies.
>>34560657
Private Party only applies to In-State transfers.
Also, that would be a straw purchase.
>>34560657
Apparently the pistol roster still applies.
Even if it were legal, there's no guarantee the FFL would be willing to do it.
I sort of like the early hi powers anyways. I just find it funny how nearly a whole decade's worth of them (in which they were in constant production no less) are so rare.

I understand 1.
I don't understand 2. How is it straw if someone on say armslist is selling it in Arizona and OP wants it? I don't mean OP should contract someone to buy it.
might as well ask here, can i buy all the parts to make an AR without having to buy cucked parts like a bullet button receiver? and if so, where could i find a list with all the parts i need?

The second you put that together Moonbeam is gonna have your asshole
>>34560924

>>34560982
Or... just move to a state that isn't on fire 90 percent of the time and with better gun laws. There's many of those

Dude you dont need a C&R I got a 1987 hipower from GB excellent condition according NRAs definition for $320 if I remember. Its a shitty MKII though so I cant replace the front site without milling it.

arent browning hipowers on the roster?
Are the FEV hi power clones good?
>>34562127
*FEG
dammit
>>34560398
hipowers are on roster
FN Hi Powers are also on roster, just a heads up.
Basically you, and probably your FFLs, are all batshit retarded like everyone else in your socialist republic. Probably all the estrogen they put in the water.

Just buy a parts kit. They have full kits online (minus the lower receiver).
>>34562127
the single action ones are but the double action ones have a shitty trigger
