Alright so I'm pretty biased as they are one of, if not my favorite book series so take this with a pretty biased grain of salt.

The first 2 books start of kind of slow as Jim Butcher takes a little bit to get in the swing of the story. That being said, it is probably some of the best character development and story arching I've seen in a series. He is really fucking good about making you care about the characters, their problems, and really put yourself into the story. He also is really good about having a overarching plot that spans 5-6 books, a interbook plot that spans a 2-3 books, tying that together with the plot of the book you are reading. It's all really well done, so you feel like shit that happened in the past actually matters for what is happening moving forward.

Plus on top of that there is some badass gun play, and the magic system/mythology shit is dope as fuck. He uses physics as a base so most of the stuff isn't Deus ex machina style endings for no fucking reason.

Finally he basically has no established "end" in sight, and somehow each book seems pretty fresh plot wise. I never have felt like I read the same thing over and over, like a lot of long running series. The basic plot premise is similar (especially early on). There are enough twists to keep you satisfied imo.

Go to jewelry store buy both heavy&light 100% silver chain as much as I can get

In the case of your picture (black powder), not difficult at all. Just cast a silver ball.

But if you want to reload cartridges without a press - it's entirely doable. Look at some of the lee classic loader kits - it's basically a dye and a hammer; something you could easily improvise. Having a firearm that's more tolerant to cartridge length variations (eg. a revolver) will make reloading without proper equipment more feasible.

You could pretty easily remove and replace the bullet from an existing cartridge, but you'll screw up the crimp in the process, and you won't be able to re-crimp it without at least having some sort of dye. The best you could do is probably squeeze it really hard with some vice-grip pliers.

There's some debate in the reloading community about how important the crimp is.

At the end of the day - it would still shoot, but you may get some unburned powder as your pressure will be all wrong. Your silver/cold iron/magical projectile will be too light, so it will accelerate too quickly and leave the rifle before a lead bullet of the same size would.

If your only concern is getting a silver bullet in your target though, it would almost certainly work. Just don't expect your semiauto rifle to properly cycle these hand-loaded rounds, and you'll probably gunk up the action of whatever you shoot them through.

Some tips I have from experience.
1. You never know when you will encounter an Elemental or similar creature. I forgot to bring anything cold when I ran into a lava golem this one time, and I got burned pretty bad for my troubles. Have some incendiary or explosive rounds on standby, and maybe an ice spell or two.
2. As mentioned above somewhat, ALWAYS have some kind of magical weapon on you. Whether it be an enchanted ka-bar or a glowing scythe that summons lightning skeletons to do your bidding, their power cannot be disputed. Fight fire with fire, you know?
3. Explosives are always handy. Sometimes, the undead don't feel like staying down, so it's helpful to blow them sky-high so they can't reconstitute anymore. Except for phoenixes. Fuck phoenixes.
4. And finally, watch out for the following creatures, they are uncommon and much more dangerous than usual.
>Wizards, necromancers, anything sentient and spell-sensitive.
>Manifestations of ancient gods like Set, Buer, etc. (study dead religions to prepare yourself).
>Any instance where aliens or robots or something get pulled from an alternate reality. That kinda stuff sucks to happen.
>Last, but not least, anything goat-shaped and in neon colors. Those are probably named demons, and they are hellacious bruisers (pun intended).

That said, I agree with the rest of it. Dresden is my jam, and it's a great mix of pulpy detective schlock and fantasy schlock with surprisingly enjoyable characters and plot.

And if you're new, you can start with book 3, or book 7, and then read the previous books once you already like the series.

That show was a fucking abomination. I went into it so hopeful too, but it was directed by Nicholas Fucking "Not the Bees!" Cage. That said, the amount of special effects required for a convincing Dresden Files is pretty hard to do in live action (that fucking dragon). I would watch the shit out of an animated version tho.
