What 5.56 AR-15 would you buy if money wasn't a factor?
What is the absolute best AR-15 you can buy?
Idk what you're doing with that pic.

Pre-'86 registered M16A1 NIB.
>What is the absolute best AR-15 you can buy?
Depends on what you want to do with it.

I sure as shit wouldn't buy one in 5.56 if price wasn't an issue.
>>34559988
Ya im good with 5.56/ 762. Its like shooting a target with a roll of quarters.
>>34559988
This one, OP
>>34559988
I'd buy something with a bull barrel, quad rail (ideally a monolithic upper, because they give me a huge boner), excellent scope and bipod, extraordinarily adjustable stock, and the best trigger I could find. And I'd still not be an excellent shooter, but I would have a gun which would definitely motivate me to practice.
>>34559988
can someone help me pick a first scope? have a red dot already, i want to scope my second AR for paper punching and plinking under 300 yds, hopefully not spending more than $350. i dont need duty grade optics, but i dont want cheap chinese bullshit either
>>34561224
Primary arms 1-8x
>>34561233
isnt that chinese? i was hoping to get something made in japan or usa if possible. i understand weaver has US made scopes in the $300 range. i dont want a scope thats going to have shit breaking within a month of light use. i read reviews of those primary arms scopes and people receive them with canted reticles, shit in the tubes, bad seals and fog, etc. i get that they have a good warranty but i dont want to play the "send 3 back until i get a decent one" game

I hate this fucking board so goddamned much.
>>34561290
US Optics. That's the brand name.
>>34563047
Let me add that of course this is out of your budget but so is any quality US-made optic.

vortex
>>34561224
$350 isn't even enough to buy a good red dot
Save up and just get an acog like everyone else
This is the perfect AR15.
You may not like it but this is what peak performance looks like.
>>34563936
You are mistaken, my friend. This is on my wall right now.
>>34563963
While patrolling the Mojave almost makes me wish for a nuclear winter your AR is inferior, even though it is also extremely high tier.
>>34560007
>proprietary parts
>>34561290
You're really underestimating the quality of chinese stuff. If they offer warranties at all, it demonstrates they do better work than the other chinese factories making other shit. You're also overestimating what you can get US made for under $350.

ARs deserve wood. You can't fold the stock anyways so there's no excuse not to.
>>34563936
I want to hate this, why can't I hate this?
Move the optic up to a scout position, give it an eXXXtra long magazine release, and modify one of those Remington 870 flip safeties to fit.
10/10 would fuddperate with.

How disgusting
>>34559988
Or something like that. Maybe an ACS buttstock and Z8i 1-8 instead.
>>34567890
Damn. Aesthetically I love it but I'd have to try the ergos out before buying and there's no way an LGS in my state would have something like that.
