Overall... It will cut.
this raid sucks

Is Doug /ourguy/?
It's funny that he is a knife specialist but can't use his own countries Balisong knives. I still like the TV show though.
>>34559929
He can't use anything.
On the show, he fucks up the cuts half the time. It's even more obvious when they show in slow motion and he's basically hitting with the flat of the sword.
What about the Moro Kris wavy swords?
Will it Keel?
>welcome to forged in fire

Kek
> it's a we ran out of real weapons 2 seasons ago so here make this baseball bat with a rusty spike in it and we call it a traditional congolese weapon episode
>>34558774
But will it blend?
>>34560461
>quenches in water episode
I can see her crack!
>>34560501
Have they even made a trident yet? There has to be plenty of different weapons to choose from
>>34560582
A good old poleaxe or halberd would be nice to see
>>34560596
I know they did some kind of polearm. I dont remember what it was though.
>>34560625
They've done naginata's and boar spear, but nothing much out of the late medieval era of 'fuck you and your armour' inventory, which was quite extensive
So, which one was best?

>>34560766
>Khopesh
I remember thinking "this is gunna be shit", but the winning blade was really fucking spectacular
>>34560766
Zweihänder or the second time the Claymore was made when the previous winners competed.
>>34560766
Also, the bladed frisbee thing you spin with your finger was one of the dumbest fucking things I've ever seen. It wouldn't do shit to any shielded and/or armored opponent other than some blunt damage. Poos not even once.
>"It will keel"
>that slightly psychotic grin whenever he says it
The man is a badass.
>>34558774
Damn I literally have just been binging this show for the first time. Shit is actually really fucking good. If you download it you get to skip all the horse shit commercials. It actually looks like the judges want to be there and there is minimal cuts for suspense that you didn't see coming. For this test...it will keel
>>34560911
It really is the best thing to come from (((History Channel))) in a long time.
>>34560012
True. This Flip is pure mall ninja.
if i had to watch shows other than anime or cartoons id probably watch some more guy fieri. i like food and being alive what can i say
>>34560012
He's ok with knives, anything much bigger than that and he's barely competent to fucking rubbish
They should have a show where the blacksmiths have to make knifes and folks in a active restaurant scene with Gordon Ramsey yelling at them!
>>34561173
>REEEEEEE THE FUCKING STEAK IS BAD!
>REEEEEEEEEEEEEE THE FUCKING CUSTOMER IS WAITING!!!
*4lb lump hammer to the face
>>34560842
To be fair, Sikhs use them primarily as a distracting weapon as they close for sword work. Even armored, having some screaming jackoff chucking metal disks at your face will get you to flinch and that can by the other guy some time.
They also use them around their wrists as grappling weapons.
>>34561350
I C. Still though, you'd be better off forging a short sword or some kind of blunt weapon.
>>34561350
Also good at throwing at naked peasants.
>>34560842
It's almost like not everything was designed to go against fucking full plate armor but autists like you can't understand that
>>34560336
Wavy
Like a flamberge?
>>34560575
Right you are Ken!
>>34559929
Doesn't he have a massive balisong collection? He uses them better than I do in one of his videos.
>>34560389
>*CONSTANT BLARING GUITARS*
>>34560538
there's some chipping on the edge though, gonna cost you
I wish they gave some advice and tips during the show, like on american restoration.
