Is it worth ditching the P938 for? I've dry fired a Glock 43, but don't know about how it shoots or the quirks of ownership.

I own one and it is amazing. With a buff and fluff and a ghost connector, the trigger is very good.

Have you looked at a recent edc thread? Like over half the pistols are 238/928s. The hate comes from the summer and noguns.

I own one. the grip is tiny as fuck. the sights and trigger are Glock Meh. standard capacity is low. those capacity expanding mag floor plates and hollow points cause the my gun to have stoppages in about 1 out of 30 rounds fired.

i've shot the .380 gun similar to the P938. It was also tiny as fuck. Though it did feel and perform better than my 43.

I got a 43, i prefer it

I owned a 43, buddy had a 938.
I shot the sig better. The trigger was great and it shot a bit softer than the 43. I personally wouldn't want a SAO pistol in that size range. The Glock 43 is a no brainer if you have other Glocks. I ended up with a 42 as I prefer the lighter weight and soft recoil impulse. 43 just never felt quite right in my hands and it wasn't particularly fun to shoot, unlike the 42. If I had to get another single stack 9, I'd probably get the PPS M2 again. A bit heavier and larger than the 43, but it was more controllable

I actually wouldn't mind owning a Glock 42 if the 43 is just too snappy. Was the 42 pretty soft recoiling? I need to find a range that has both so I can compare them side-by-side.

I own and carry both regularly. The only two places the Glock beats the SIG is weight and thickness. I shoot the SIG way better. Whenever I shoot the 43, I always get some slide bite on the webbing of my thumb since I grip so high, and my long fingers press down on the slide stop preventing it from locking back on empty.

I'll agree with the Shield having a nice trigger pull and definitely cheaper price but I've gone to the range and fired maybe 2 rounds in and on the 3rd the firing pin failed to strike the primer.
I tried pushing the slide in to see if it failed to chamber the round, pulled the hammer back and then pulled the trigger again- no dice. I later re-chambered that round thinking it was a dud but it fired. I immediately lost trust in the Shield and went with the Glock 43..
