What appealed to me the most was the price, safeties, size and basically most of the good stuff people say about it on youtube. You guys got anything else to add that I need to know?

For 50 bucks more than a hipoint it's not bad. But I wouldn't trust it until you've put some rounds down the pipe, 100 break in 100 test, with 40 of that being the defensive ammo you want use.

I've had countless customers where the gun breaks their first time shooting it or it doesn't cycle or whatever. Would never buy taurus

I heard great things and bad things about the PT111. If you do buy just be prepared for getting a dud, and put at least 200 rounds through it as soon as you can to establish reliability.

OP here, just gonna say that the country where im from, the taurus is 500 usd and the Sw shield is 1000 usd. Yes I know, were not as free as america

You can get several pistols in that price range now that won't shit the bed. It's one of their better pistols but make sure she can use the slide if she has weak hand strength. If that's a problem look at something like a Witness.

You might get one that works. You might also get a lemon. Pretty 50/50. I've sent a bunch back to taurus and they're backlogged a few months because of all the shit qc they have.
