Take a wilderness first aid course.
>>34546582
fill it with used candy rappers
>field expedient chest seals
If you don't know what to put in a kit, then you probably won't be able to use it effectively anyways.
Take some classes, but before that just keep basic things like guaze, an ace wrap, and some shears
What is this for?
Major combat injuries?
>TQ, NPA, Gauze(impregnated or compressed), Chest Seal, gloves, shears, compression dressing (ace wrap, olaes, israeli)
Daily use?
Bandaids, ibuprofen, sudafed, moleskin, gauze, neosporin, Ace wrap, cravat, tape, pen, flashlight
>create troll medkits
>swap everyone elses' medkits with troll medkits
>>34546582
Time comes you need one, there will be plenty lying on the ground.
>>34546582
youtube it
This stuff
>>34546582
Take a CPR class, it will be more useful than an ifak meme.
>>34546582
israeli bandage, shears, gauze, aloe vera, tourniquets, gloves cpr masks or shield whatever they're called. All of this is completely useless if you dont have training though. get cpr certified and take wilderness first aid classes.

>Israeli bandage
nice try (((anon)))

Would I be looking for red cross CPR or are there other organizations offering classes?
What would be a clue of a "wilderness" first aid class?
I live in suburbs so it probably wouldn't be called "wilderness"
[spoiler]fill it with dick cards[spoiler]
>>34549655
Yeah Red Cross
Or check local FD/EMS they sometimes offer the course for free
If taking a Red Cross class I reccomend BLS for Healthcare provider
>>34546582
How does this look?
A old Czechoslovakian medic game me it fully stocked for free.

The outside, he even threw in a small pouch.

Underrated post
>>34546582
I ordered from red cross
Very good medkits for people who dont know what they're doing
>>34546582
Fuck if I know, I just bought a Northbound Train first aid kit instead of making my own.
>>34546702
This really is a good point. If you don't know how to use something what good is it.
>>34550837
Thats a very good stuff

start at the bottom and work your way up. Up to you how far you can go.
booboo kit - bandages, ibuprofen, bug and burn treatment, cold medicine, antibiotics, antiseptic, moleskin, soap, tweezers
blowout kit - gauze, bloodstoppers, chest seals, gloves, pneumothorax needle, tourniquet, nasalpharyngeal tube, medical shears, israeli bandages, face mask, face condom for CPR, medical tape.
trauma kit+ - suture kit, scalpels, forceps, clamps/hemostats, splints, lots more gauze, non-stick gauze (won't rip out flesh when removed later), butterfly closure strips, alcohol, spaceblanket, elastic bandages, triangular bandages, more bloodstoppers, sterile sponges, eye pads and more sanitizing/antibiotic/antiseptics and such.

CPR is very useful if you have or are around children.
For people who shoot or otherwise have hobbies or jobs that can lead to bleeding learning to control bleeding is probably better.
>>34546873
>>TQ, NPA, Gauze(impregnated or compressed), Chest Seal, gloves, shears, compression dressing (ace wrap, olaes, israeli)
this, cellox gauze is recommended
Medic here. Really depends on what you plan on needing it for. 99% of shot most people buy or put in kits is wasted space and they never use or don't know how to use.
I've found for 99% of all situations, some gauze, bandaids, ointment, and nsaids are more than enough. Maybe some shears and a waterbottle as well.
>>34549746
Fuckin this kek.
>>34553152
>stop at the bottom and work your way up
>trauma kit+ - suture kit
No that's really not the first thing you should buy.
>>34553292
A pair of scissors, a bottle of saline, rolls of gauze, mediport or equivalent tape, bandages, a tube of bacitracin, and a bottle of Tylenol is all you need. If you really believe a massive laceration is possible, splurge for whatever the hottest meme version of quikclot is right now. Anything more than that is a waste unless you know exactly how to use it AND you really believe you're going into a specific situation where it's possible. Worrying about buying the $300 worth of stuff (that expires in 18 months btw) to deal with a sucking chest wound is fucking stupid.
Get on my level

This.
I too have a stale infographic.
>>34546702
This.
If you knew what to do with an ifak or any other first aid, you would know exactly what you do or don't need.
If you don't know, you will hurt somebody by trying to use them or hurt them by getting in the way of someone who does.
