Glock is a meme because it's the gun world equivalent of a beige toyota camry. They work fine and are probably more reliable than most of their competitors. The issue is that the have no unique features or styling and are so common they've become nearly ubiquitous so a lot of retarded newguns and nig nogs own them. No problem with the gun itself.

I respect your choice and appreciate your final point but I'll always give Glock shit for the obstinacy of the company proper. It has every reason to be a comfortably gun to shoot but their refusal to get with the times on things like forward serrations and ambi controls make them a bit of a joke. Glocks aren't Swiss watches, they have no reason to not have redundant ambi controls for everything, let alone being as basic as a reversible mag release and only one slide stop.

They're lighter and more compact than any other handgun with the same capacity (except for the 42/43). Idk where people get that they're not unique looking. What other handgun has such a boxy slide and aggressive grip angle. Sure you might not like the way it looks, but it's definitely different from other poly handguns.
