Later in 1798 they were re-instated As a necessity for projecting a QRF for American power. in subsequent small conflicts. I.E Native American wars, Banana Wars, Hati, Tripoli etc.
Then World War One they also began to serve in Larger conflicts on a wider scale as the Tip of the Spear I.E conventional Forces
