This missile said to be "Impossible" to intercept by any anti-missile, because it's stealthy and small and super manoeuvrable

Isn't there any solution to it
>>
It's not only stealthy, the missile of Iskander is also carrying a fake targets and electronic warfare suit
>>
>>34530528
Dont let it launch
>>
>>34530573
You can't
>>
>>34530581
not with that attitude
>>
>>34530581
Ok then, die.
>>
>>34530528
>stealthy
Considering how Russians suck at stealth, I don't think the statement that it's "stealthy" means much.

>super maneuverable
Again, no sense of scale, just a statement.

>fake targets
Still no sense of scale.

>electronics warfare suit
Yet no sense of scale.

They could've painted a regular missile with a thin coat of RAM, claimed pulling 20 g guided by a Raspberry Pi is super maneuverable, add a glitter compartment and a phone jamming system and it would fit all of those definitions. This is why statements of what capabilities it has are pointless unless there's any sense of scale to them.
>>
>>34530528
>"Impossible" to intercept
Everything is impossible until someone does it.
Answer? Other than point defenses and THAAD, strategic deployment of similar capabilites as a deterrent.
>>
The solution is avoid having anything of value within 500km of it.
>>
>>34530528
If I recall, NATO wanted to put Patriots in Poland, Russia said they'll put Iskanders in small Russian oblast that's rightfully Polish Clay. NATO stepped back because Iskander is a countermeasure against Patriots.

tl;dr the only correct way is sanctions.
>>
>>34530626
That would be incorrect or outdated info.

Poland is in process of acquiring Patriot missile systems at the moment:
http://www.defensenews.com/articles/trump-administration-to-sell-patriot-missiles-to-poland
>>
>>34530672
but it's going to do shit against Iskander
>>
>>34530534
tested against whose tech
>>
>>34530528
Space background is 4 Kelvin making it piss easy to distinguish targets. On top of that they light up like a motherfucker during reentry.

Claims of stealth are bullshit.
>>
>>34530614
One of the most retarded posts I've read this weak.

The very first comment about stealth immediately gives out your low IQ.
>>
>>34530528
Its already being replaced no?
>>
>>34530764
with what?

It's not about the patriot batteries, it's about the aegis ashore missile defence installations in Romania and Poland. (pic related)
They're basically alleging that the US will fill their VLS with tomahawks so they want to deploy Iskanders as an answer.
>>
>>34530718
>being this triggered while being a vatnik
Russia has never ever made a successful stealth device.

Patriot is considered to be capable to defeat Iskander. Poles required that capability for the new system. I have no idea, how was it proven.
>>
>>34530528
Yes,

Who needs accuracy then you have a cone of shrapnel flying through the air.

>Russia takes 23 years to make something half as capable as a Pershing II
>>
>>34532796
It's completely different class
>>
>>34530528
>impossible to intercept
Kek no. Ballistic missiles will always follow a predetermined flight path, so once the launch have been detected, countermeasures could be taken to intercept the missile, unless it has MIRV
>>
>>34530687

That is all based on speculation and guesswork until Iskander missiles actually gets targeted in large scale by latest version of Patriot. By now that has not happened - not even once.
>>
GLONASS goes down and GPS goes military only, accuracy is now measured in miles

>>34530614

That's exactly what LM is doing, because there are no ways to check. "Meh classified, meh forbidden to export by Congress". In case of Russian weaponry, claims they do is not propaganda for domestic use, it's information for buyers. They can check their goods. In that market reputation costs a lot.
>>
>>34530528
ECM and Decoy performance is heavily degraded when a system's full specifications and technical data are available for sale.
>>
>>34533665
>GLONASS goes down
>all American satellites get destroyed
>now USA relies on compass
>>
>>34533468
Lmao. Except the thing does violent 90° turns mid-flight.
>>
>>34533703
LM's claims are checked by independent experts in the USAF.
>>
>>34533665
Iskander uses INS+DSMAC.
>>
>>34530528
Navy's laser cannon.
>>
>>34532865
>different class

Yeah the P2 could fulfill every role the Iskander M does and more as it had additional range. It also had a MaRV, decoys and chaff as well
>>
>>34530528
>This missile said to be "Impossible" to intercept by any anti-missile, because it's stealthy and small and super manoeuvrable
lol
>>
>>34530528
The main problem with Iskander is its quasi ballistic which means almost ballistic but not truly ballistic. It can be almost countered by anti air but not truly since it is almost ballistic. And it can be almost countered by anti ballistic but not really since it is only almost ballistic.

The nearest comparison should be the much superior DF-10 which is the best in the world.
>>
>>34537523
This

China has long been known to have better quasi ballistic technology that has no analog anywhere in the world.

The DF-10 can penetrate any current and future carrier defense. It is laughable to think otherwise.
>>
>>34537523
>China
>best anything

CHINA WILL GROW LARGERER
>>

The Patriot wasn't able to destroy the warhead.
>>
>>34530626

>rightfully East Prussia Clay
fixed it for you
>>
>>34530528
Doesn't look very stealthy being round and with 4 fins at 90 degrees to one another.
>>
>>34540046
>DF-10 is not considered functional. Serious problems with terminal guidance resulting in a CPE in excess of 3 kilometers are apparently impossible to solve.

"Carriers"

They can't hit fucking Rode Island.
>>
>>34540426
Lol, you think China will give some American civilian think tank what its military is capable of?

It's called Maskivorska. Americans believe anything as long as it pricks on their pride.
>>
>>34540613
>Maskivorska
>Don't worry, Russia is only pretending to be retarded.
>>
>>34540643
That worked out for the Americans when Crimea returned to Russia.
>>
>>34540659
Worked out for Russia when their economy tanked.
>>
>>34540613
Let's see Putin lie his way out of a hydrocarbon extraction economy.
>>
>>34540659

>That worked out for the Americans when Crimea returned to Russia.

You got Crimea but lost Ukraine.
>>
>>34530528
>Isn't there any solution to it

You're forgetting the best ant-missile weapon in the world, Russia's economy
>>
Haven't read the thread, but can't they just Las it with the HEL once it's finished?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Energy_Liquid_Laser_Area_Defense_System
>>
>>34531468
so they want an excuse to deploy Iskanders in Kaliningrad and this is the easiest justification they could come up with
