Somehow my apartment manager's office is able to process e-checks so they clear my bank within 1 hour of turning in my rent, so I tend not to believe this. When I cash a check in my account, it will typically clear in 2 days. They take forever when I pay with a credit/debit card too, though.

why wouldn't you use grabagun? they're way better to deal with; I've bought dozens of guns through them.

I would normally use Grabagun, but at the time I ordered, what I wanted wasn't in stock there (although it is now).

I don't know what it is, but yeah, using an e-check will take a few days with Bud's. That's what happened the first time I bought a gun there; the second time I used my card instead, and it processed in a day.

Does your LGS always have what you're looking for? (Answer: Probably if, like most people here, you just buy Glocks and ARs. But if you want something more out of the mainstream, they might not.) I bought my WZ-48 from Bud's because they actually had some, and my CVA Wolf through them because they were $40 cheaper than anywhere around me and Bud's would ship it straight to my front door.

I live in the middle of nowhere, Iowa...so I don't have access to Bud's other than online...again...I'm curious why hickock loves them so much. I understand they sponsor him. I suppose it's their big selection that draws people.

I don't buy from them very often, but sometimes they have the lowest price on a gun model or they're the only place where you can get a certain gun for a decent price. For example, at the time I placed my order, there were only like 3 places online that had new Glock 24's in stock, and Buds just happened to be the lowest. Now Grabagun and a bunch of other places have them in stock, including one place pretty close to where I live.

I'm in Utah. Lots of gun stores here, but the Glock 24 is a unicorn.
