Happened when I took two friends out shooting for the first time (neither had shot guns before). Decided to do a mag dump, about five rounds in the fireballs got bigger and bigger every shot. Definitely noticeable considering at 7.5" they're already ridiculous.

Friends still wanted to shoot so I said fuck it and we had a bolt action AR for a while.

So Glock 17 MOS or buy a Gen4 frame and an aftermarket RMR cut slide and build the rest? G17 MOS will save me about $200 initially, but I'll eventually want to replace the barrel and sights with a threaded barrel and raised sights.

If I build a slide or buy a complete aftermarket slide It'll cost about $250 more up front but all that will be taken care of.
