What's a good price for a Glock 19? I'm a no-guns on a budget, so $530+ sales tax is undesirable. My local FFL charges 25 for a transfer. I settled on Glock 19 after firing a few different guns at the rental range and really liking this one.
Oh, I fired the gen 3

Then get a police trade in you nigger. $530 is about what Gen 4 run. Give or take $20-25.

>not buying from Bud's with Hickok45's ref link

You can get a police trade in gen 3 .40 for like 275 in my area.

Wait, is there a Hickok45 discount code?
>>34525340
It's not a discount, it just gives him a cut.

Why doesn't he post that link in his videos then?

Even though I'm on a budget, this is my first gun and I would like it to be new. How does 40 compare to 9? 9 felt like nothing at the range, I was so surprised having not shot since I was 15.
they're worth about tree-fiddy. buy at a low cost because you'll need to replace $200 worth of shit to make it "good" according to all the fans
Get a police or academy trade in for $400.

>Felt like nothing.
Throw some hollow points in it and it'll put down tyrones and cletus's in 5-6 shots just like every other pistol caliber.

>buy glock for $500
>replace every part on it for another $300
>this is acceptable
>HK creates guns that don't need parts work for $800
>this is too much money
Check armslist. In my area, I see Glock 19s in the $450-500 range frequently, and they often look new.

A lot of police trade-in Glocks are being marketed as "rebuilt" or "refurbished," which seems to imply that the springs are all going to be fresh. Even if you have to swap out the recoil spring, it's like $10, not $300.

oh boy look everybody it's that meme again!
not even a suggestion, nor opinion, posted as fact!
you have to replace every part! and then compare it to another gun! and regret your decision!
who fucking has free will? memes in your soul!

My academy trade in has been 100% from the get go, haven't replaced a thing and it's super duper.
Came with the factory night sights though, no plastic bucket ball. Probably would've changed that out.
