Post about the one gun, regardless of make, model, or caliber, that - come Hell or high water - that you would never relinquish, willingly, even under pain of death.

This... is the only correct answer.
My 91/30, being completely unironic btw. It's just a simple, solid rifle in a decent cartridge imo.

remington model 11.
classic shotgun.
was my grandfathers.

My first bolt-action was a M38 "nugget" - love the damn thing.
My 995ts. I've put work into smoothing the trigger, have it painted, and using different ammo can fulfill almost any role I need for an urban fight or small to mid size game hunting. As a plus, every member of my family can easily use it if need be
my M&P340 snubnose

im not a rank sentimentalist so i dont get attached to inanimate objects. easy come, easy go.
my walther HP
My 91/30, the first gun I ever called my own.

The gutwrecking sound of my colt forty fives pump action that let's the BGees(badguys) know that I'm ready for them with a full clip of double acp stopping power

I've got the 4595, what the biggest thing I could reliably hunt using it?

It's different, if someone important to you had bequeathed it to you, personally, though.
My M1903A3, my first gun

Stayin' ALIVE...!

classic
70 series Colt. Given to me by my great grandfather. I'd raw dog a .30 cent hooker in meth city before I'd even consider getting rid of it.

I have a sporterized Westinghouse mosin that was classed up by my great-grandfather with some nice checkering and some questionable yet accurate iron sight modification. When my family homesteaded in Montana, it put meat on the table.
Most of my guns have a price, albeit that price is far more than any sane person would pay. Pic related I will never sell though

so? they're dead. they dont care anymore.
>>34526941
there is no such thing as "never," just like there's no such thing as "always."
>>34526941
Very nice.
Unfortunately almost all my lever guns are wall hangers in unshootable condition, either from damaged barrels or bolts. And all in 25-20. (WTF grandpa get something in a standard caliber)

Irreverent dick or sour grapes or just unloved as a child? All three?

Deer would be as high as I go. Hollow points suit you best, aim for the neck or head. Use good quality shit like gold dots cause the cheap stuff fragments too badly on impact. Personally, I prefer the faster, smaller grain rounds for hunting because of the flatter traveling bullet. I'm sure you'll be told to use the largest round possible.
The 16 in barrel affords you much more speed. A 90 grain 9mm comes out of mine in excess of 2000 fps. A 50 grain 223 CAN reliably harvest a deer I'd you do the part. So speed kills. Make the best use of your PCC.

Quick follow up: Paul gets 45 acp drop through both a PCC and a 1911. It gives a good idea of bullet performance

My Remington 11-48 in .410. It has a few generations of family shit attached to it.
10/22 is the ultimate SHTF gun

My AR, probably. It's a good gun. My Benelli M2 is a close second.
