If you have plans to enlist and try to go some type of sf and have access to an upper echelon then by all means sure do-

SVTs are no longer cheap. SKS dull the pain of every other gun being fuckspensive.

Buy a Norinco M14. Even if they are now $300 more than what they used to be it's still a good deal. Some of them aren't screwed together as tightly as they should be, but they're built to spec so you can add as many match grade and GI parts as you want.
