Is there a reason I shouldn't buy this, other than "HUEHUEHUE TAURUS"?
>less than 6" long
>compatible with M85 boot grips for an even smaller package
>under 16oz
>.380 Auto performs very close to .38 Special from this barrel length, albeit with lighter bullets
>moon CLIPS for rapid reloading/unloading
>it's adorable
>5 rounds of .380
>implying that moon clips aren't a PITA to carry compared to speed strips and mags
I'd try to get a LWS .380 instead, but they are expensive and hard to find. 13.7oz loaded, 6+1 capacity, incredibly concealable.

Looked into it. They're too ammo sensitive and the manual arms is pants-on-head retarded thanks to the stupid non-removable safeties.

The mag safety is indeed quite silly, and it has a euro style mag release, but ammo sensitivity isn't such a large disadvantage for a mouse gun that doesn't even have sights. You'd probably only shoot it enough to cycle out old defensive ammo. Not exactly comfortable, just intended to be as concealable as possible.

Or you could just get a rm380
Do you actually plan on carrying this? If you just want if for fun, go ahead and buy it.
If you're looking at very small carry revolvers, consider a .22 WMR, OP. Even out of a 2" barreled revolver, a 40 grain round nose .22 WMR goes over 13" into calibrated ballistic gelatin. It makes a nice fireball/barks loud enough that it'll startle the bejesus out of anyone you're chucking lead at and you can carry an extra ~3 rounds in the cylinder.

Can they also fire .22 LR? I've wanted a good plinking revolver and it would be nice if you also kill vermin with it.
>>34521633
You would need a separate cylinder for that. .22 WMR is a lengthened .22 WRF and, unlike .22 S/L/EL/LR, does not use a heeled bullet.

Look at the 3.5" figures (BBTI tests use barrels with integral chambers, to get revolver results add barrel length + cylinder length)

I don't know actually. Maybe? Would be a cool little backup gun or something to throw in a pocket when I don't want to wear a real gun.

I'd never trust any rimfire for a defensive gun. Plus, the only options are itty bitty micro revolvers and S&W J-frames. The NAAA micros are way too small, and the J-frame is larger and heavier than this is, and much less effective.

This one is not substantially larger and has an 8 shot capacity.

I still don't trust a rimfire.

Ignore the 4in barrel tabs and .357 mag section

The 2in snubb consistently performed much deeper penetration than the g43
Raw muzzle energy shouldn't be the only factor in determining effectiveness

The LCR and the 642 exist
>>34520668
Better, lighter, smaller, stronger revolvers exist.
>>34520668
Because you can get an S&W 642 in almost identical size/weight and then you can into +P .38 special

Like?
I would also go for a 38 revolver
because you normally got the +P possibility
and it feels much more reliable if the cartridge stops at the rim
if you want to use a moon-clip, then some crafty gunsmith can customize the cylinder of the 38 revolver
and you can then use clips, speedloader, speed-strips or cartridges one by one
Revolvers are memes
